The first few lines made me want to read this book. From your review, it looks that the book is pretty deep. Will have a great time reading it.

I love mysteries and crime thrillers so I'm sure I'll enjoy this book. It sounds interesting, with well-developed characters and even humour is present. Great review!
"You can be more aware and more present simply by resting in the present moment, open to all that is, without trying to control it or grasp it with the mind. Truly, a marvelous way of being!"

This is an interesting crime-mystery thriller novel highlighting death, humor, action, suspense, well-developed characters, friendship, betrayal, murder, violence, suspicion, and loyalty. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has an awesome OnlineBookclub review.

Avoiding dealing with a traumatic experience as a child that extends into adulthood is not healthy; it sounds like the book forces the adults to go back in time and recount the horrible death of their friend in order to move forward in their lives. I like that the author uses humor, especially having one of the characters come across as self-deprecating and sarcastic. Thanks for the lovely review.

Thanks Cecilia_L, for your great review.
A tragic story where Wayne and Phil witness the death of a childhood friend Stevie. They may be innocent, but the guilt ridden moves take them face other problems. While other crimes come on their ways, you will encounter a thrilling mystery in successive moves, and you keep guessing, what went wrong on the Unknown Shores, in the first place!

The "What If's" in this book, I think they make us all think from time to time about things we could have done differently.

It’s difficult to lose a friend, I know what it feels like, and from childhood is even worse, since you are not fully prepare to cope with this, and most of times there is no one to help you to form good thought about this issue. Very interesting book, great review!

Told in the 1st person POV and alternating between past and present day, today's BOTD is a suspenseful mystery about childhood friendships, and the trauma they carry with them into adulthood. It's engaging storyline and well-developed characters will keep you glued to the pages!! This one's a keeper for me! Thank you so much!! :-)

Your review is very detailed. How did you manage that without giving away spoilers? My guess is that the story begins slowly and picks up pace. You did real good.
