This seems to be a perfect December read, and a good book to get you through a snow day! Sadie sounds like a wonderful character. I am curious about the recipes included in the book. Thanks for the festive recommendation!

I was asking some friends at Goodreads for a recommendation for a really good Christmas book to read. One suggested this one. I went to Amazon to read some reviews and it sounded like a good story but not worth my time and money so ultimately gave it a skip. However, after reading your review I think I made a big boo boo!

Your review was so enthusiastic but never stopped being professional and shared enough of the story for us to share in why you like it so much. Thanks to you and my Goodreads friend, my search for that special Christmas book has reached a more than satisfactory conclusion! :D

And a Merry, Merry one to you.

Sincerely, LL
And they sang a new song saying,
"You are worthy to take the book,
and to open its to seals,
for You were slain and have redeemed us to God,
by your blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and Nation." Rev. 5:9

Oh man. I wish I'd read this much earlier because it sounds like the perfect Christmas read. I love cozy mysteries and the theft of a few valuable ornaments seems ripe for fun and a bit of intrigue. It sounds great.
