The witch narrative in the 1800s is the biggest selling point for me. From the review, it looks as though it doesn't tie off the story completely. Thanks for the review.

I guess the title will make me want to read it. I really cannot wrap my head around its line of thought at first glance. Should be interesting to find out. Thanks for the review.

I was fascinated with New Orleans mysterious atmosphere ever since I read Ann Rice vampire saga for the first time. This book sounds wonderful in review, despite some meager points, which forced reviewer lower rating. In my opinion, well worth to be read!

Although the book cover doesn't seem attractive, the review makes me curious regarding its content. Being a mystical story lover I would like to give this one try.
Thank you for the great review.. :D

A book about an interior designer, who together with his business partner, Tom. She was tasked with decorating a major New Orleans celebration, then things don't go as planned. A violent murder, sinister visions lead to life-threatening conflicts with supernatural origins that date back hundreds of years. For those who like supernatural fiction.

This book sounds very interesting! It combines so many elements that I enjoy: supernatural, crime, LGBT+, and the South. I'm definitely adding this to my list.

The book sounds interesting and exciting with all those mysterious dreams, paranormal elements, a murder and lots of adventures. I'm glad that you can easily understand what's going on in the book despite it being the second installment but I'd rather read the first one before taking the second. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Great review! Minor Arcana sounds like an exciting story - brothels, witches, covens, ladies of the evening, swingers clubs - very interesting. The present day story about redecorating the mansion in New Orleans for the orchestra conductor sounds interesting.

I like its cover page's image, I didn't get much insight into the story, maybe, due to reviewer's effort to not share too much of the story. However, with such a unique name, someday I will give it a try.

This sounds really interesting, especially the part that you said how well the book handled LGBT+ issues. Thanks for your review

Good pacing, striking characters, and worldbuilding. This book is a winner for me and so is the review, which points out the strong points but also those to be improved.
Great job! :tiphat: :tiphat:
