This sounds like a great psychological thriller. It seems to be a very enjoyable book with all of the subplots and psychology. This was an interesting and informative review

A very promising review, a psychological thriller with lots of different elements mixed into it. I am not so much into lengthy background descriptions if not directly relevant to the story, but since you still give 4 stars I assume they don't bother too much.

Totally agree, and was great to read such detailed and authentic representation of complex mental health issues - wish more books were as well-researched as this!

Sounds like my kinda of book! Although books with too many subplots can be a little tedious, the creepy rituals and real life conspiracies should make up for it. Will pick this one up for sure. Thanks for the review

Murders and satanic rituals? Sounds like an action-packed book full of suspense. Dr. Cordingly is taking a huge risk by investigating the murders and I hope this doesn't end badly for the doctor. Thanks for the wonderful review.

I so appreciate your review as I don't handle some psychological thrillers that well. The satanic rituals you mentioned specifically would probably be enough to keep me up at night for a while. It sounds like it was really well written though. But I will pass.

Appears to be a very frightening tail. Look forward to being pulled into the books seemingly chilling depths and get entranced by the fascinating plot you described. Very insightful review and definitely sparked my interest in a genre that usually does not capture my attention. :shifty:

The story of a humanitarian doctor who is concerned for a patient well being even after being accused of a murder is the best part from where story takes turn into psychological thriller. It turns out that the patient led doctor to a whole pandora situation of murder and satanic rituals...it is indeed a well written and intriguing review for the book. I enjoyed reading it thoroughly and i definitely look farward to read that book. Congratulations on BOTD

This book seems packed with action, violence, and mystery. The opening pages are riveting but, based on the review, reveal only the tip of the iceberg.

Due to the graphic descriptions of violence and moderate suggestive content, I would highly recommend this to an adult audience only.
Wow. This sounds like an incredible book. If this reader feels as if being in the world of characters, the writer has nailed it!
Thank you for the endnote on the appropriate audiences.
Great review!

The book seems fast paced and that would be a bonus.
A doctor trying to prove her patient's innocence with someone on her back is good enough a thriller for me.
Discovering the dynamics between twins and mental health would also be very exciting.
However, the case of Satanic rituals is not my thing.
The book seems packed with action and science and that is very nice.
Excellent review.
