The action and the fast pacing of this book already caught my attention. It's really nice that this book is the number five of the series, but it can be read as a standalone. Besides, thrillers with crime and mystery are things that I love. I don't know if I'm going to enjoy the romance between Barry and Alexandra though. However, since you talked about how it didn't feel rushed, I might like it. Thanks for the insightful review! Great job.

Great review, I know what to expect and what not.
Haven’t heard of this book before, but seems worthy to be added to TBR pile. Thanks!

I would have been sleepy myself if the narrator sounded dull. Besides I would rather read, my listening skills are not that good. Thanks for your review. I would love to read this.

This book is embellished with several features that I find very interesting. Especially Barry and Alexandra's relationship. How could they get that close without emotional attachment? I will want to find out. Great work here. Thanks

That was a detailed review and I was interested until I found out that it was an audiobook. I like thriller stories but not in audio format. So I'll give it a pass this time.

I'm glad that you enjoyed the steady plot development. I'm not really into audio books and may have to skip this one.
Thank you for your thorough review.

This seems to be a fast-paced book. I usually like this sort of narrative. However, the strong language and graphic sex scenes work as a deterrent.
Thank you for the insightful review.

Nice review
I love the fact that it starts with a boom and continued with the same place and also that Alexandra is not your typical damsel. I would love to read

Action-packed thrillers aren’t really my thing. But great review anyway! It sounds like a well-executed story in all aspect.

I didn’t have to read very far to see someone else express my thoughts! That really is too bad about the narration, especially since this seems like a very interesting series. I am quite curious about how the paranormal part fits in. Thanks for a helpful review :)

It does sound interesting, yet the bad language and sex scenes would put me off reading this book

I've never listened to an audiobook. I get very easily distracted, so I would much rather prefer it in a format that I could carefully read at my own pace. This would be heightened by the flat narration you mentioned
Do you ever feel like you spend too much time reading? Yeah. Me neither.

I love well-written thrillers. The attention to detail is very important and the whole story sounds interesting. Great review!

This is an amazing fast-paced action thriller that is a fifth installment in the Kahler Files series and highlights action, adventure, betrayal, espionage, war, murder, trust, and romance. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and masterfully-written OnlinBookClub review.
