Thanks Salma_asa for the nice feedback! I also love mysteries!

InStoree, thanks for the kind words. I agree it's frustrating to read a book with numerous errors. I hope the next book each of us reads is edited well!

I do love mystery novels, but I prefer books that catch my attention right from the start. However, if the errors were cleaned up, I still would not mind taking a look at this one. Thanks for the informative and interesting review!

I like how it will be harder to guess who did it. Usually when you read a mystery you can tell who did it without really having to finish the book which really makes you lose interest in the book.

A slow starting book can be a downer for me depending on how it drags out. Although I am willing to power through if it has a good plot. And it has a nosy female protagonist too! Yep, this one goes in my want-to-read shelf. Thanks for your very helpful review. 🙂

Slow starts normally make me wanna close the book, but always love a good plot. Mystery is my favorite genre and this had me wanting more.

The story seems interesting but it seems a bit slow for my taste. Am glad you liked it.
Thanks a lot for an insightful review Bookowlie☺.

It can definitely bog a story down. Nonetheless, it seems like a decent enough murder mystery, and those details can be easily omitted.

What an astute observation! If the details are in the author’s head, the reader should pick up on them easily through inference and not wordy text.
Someone should have pointed that out to Dickens. Lol!

This seems like an enjoyable book, despite the slow start, and Veronica sounds like a very likeable protagonist. I would probably like to read this book. Thanks for the great review!

This book seems like it could be better with proper editing. I will have a look at it once the author makes the changes you have mentioned. Thanks for the review.

It's unfortunate that the descriptions were tedious and the editing was sloppy. Hopefully, the author/publisher will rectify these matters. Aside from those issues, the story seems entertaining.

Thank you for your candid review. :)

Oh, this sounds like it's a well-thought-out book! In a way, I'm glad that only the editing is sloppy in this case, since it's easier to fix that than, say, plot holes. Thanks for another amazing review, bookowlie!

I like a good mystery but too much details and typos are a definite turn off.
