Crime and thriller books are ranked higher in my bookshelf. I seriously don't like stories that end abruptly! So we are supposed to guess what happens next right? Thanks for your very detailed and honest review. Good job as always!

I also hate unfair cliffhangers and when a book is not satisfactorily concluded. But this one sounds so interesting I'm tempted to look into it. Great review!

Yes. That was the only thing about it that I didn't like. Thanks for stopping by!

The main question is answered, but there are others that were not. Thanks for the comments!

It doesn't end on a cliffhanger; the main question is answered. There are other questions that were presented in the book that weren't resolved, though. I hope the author takes care of that. It could easily earn 4 stars from me then.

Sorry to learn that such a promising book had loose ends! Otherwise, it touches on so many interesting topics. Thank you for a great review! :)

A race to see who will win? The tribe that landed on a potential goldmine? Or the greedy oil companies that want nothing more than the consumers money, no matter the cost? Sounds like a truly thrilling read that I can't wait to pick up! Thank you for your detailed and delightful review. Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

The story seems to be complex and thrilling. I would like to find out whether the dispute was resolved. I don't like when a story leaves the reader with unanswered questions. I'm still debating whether I'll read the book. You presented a lovely review. Thanks.

Thanks so much for the comments. I agree that the story is complex and thrilling. It certainly had me on the edge of my seat. I'm hoping the author will take care of the loose ends.

The book sounds amazing! Though, I am a bit worried about getting sucked into this book while knowing the ending leaves much to be desired. Regardless, thanks for your insightful and well written review!
