When there are two storylines, the transitions between the two should be smooth. I am glad this title does not disappoint in that regard. Thanks for your great review and recommendation.

Thanks for your informative review. This looks like a nice C/T/M/H novel I can enjoy.

As a basketball fan, I'm attracted by this book, but I read the Hillary Broome novel that was BOTM a few months ago and honestly I wasn't particularly impressed. Maybe now that I know the protagonists better, I might get a better impression even if I don't care for a mother-daughter relationship. Regardless, thank you for your great review!
Ciao :)

FYI - the basketball mostly centers around a team of girls.
Thanks for your comment.

Two protagonists in a story that focuses on symbolism. This review couldn’t have been better structured. Thanks.

It's hard to find interesting sports books that girls will enjoy! I like that you explain how this book connects to current events as well. It sounds like an excellent read.

Your review is very informtaive and detailed. I'm sure it helped many to judge this book. Anyway, this book might be the perfect pick for us in this year. It could be so relatable. Though I am not a basketball fan, but this book seems to be written in an interesting manner. Lastly, thanks for the review!
