Books sound good from all sides! Caribbean is the place I enjoy greatly to read about in any context including pirates era and travel guidebooks. Treasure hunt is huge bonus as well and obviously best genres Crime, Thriller, Mystery, and Horror wrapped in very pretty package. Thanks for recommendation and congrats on BOTD!

I am absolutely loving this book. As you begin reading it sets you in a tired mood of the character Sabastian, I mean it even seemed like he was bored of his own life. He had done it all, which was not very enticing but as you read on the book captivates you with a little mystery that leads to a whole lot of drama and suspense. I have yet to finish the book but I am very much captured by it. :wine:

After reading the first several pages of Mr. Ayotte's novel, I was hooked and purchased the book immediately from Amazon. I cannot wait to get started on this. Thanks to the author for creating characters who have been around the block for a few years, like yours truly. Congratulations, Mr. Ayotte, on your achievement and on BOTD honors.

The book seems adventures with the touch of romance and unexpected twists. But, I, generally, don't read these type of books. So, I am going to pass this one. Thanks for this great review.

The book has an interesting plot and a wonderful storyline. Sebastian Reynolds is an interesting character that has embarked on an adventure with his teammates. I would love to read the book so as to know how the story ended. Thanks for your review.

Sounds intriguing to have a lot of genres combined into one awesome piece. I wonder what this treasure is. Guess I can only find out by reading. Thanks for the review.

Exploring to find treasure in the exotic islands is a great adventure that must have a cunning plot to avoid boredom while reading it. I'm eager to read this book next time.

Treasure hunt stories are usually interesting. This mixes drama, suspense, romance, and adventure. In addition, it includes unexpected plot twists by linking history and family secrets with a murder mystery. It sounds like a fascinating read.

This seems to be an intense tale of an old colonel and newsletter columnist. I'm curious to know whether the treasure was discovered? The story seem to incorporate quite a number of interesting themes and plot twists. I will add it to my want to read shelf.

Suspense, adventure, romance and a hunt for treasure—how exciting! I also think of pirates when I see a book about treasure. This book sounds intriguing and gripping even without pirates! Excellent review!

The review promises an off-shore adventure with strong ingredients that will lead to a full blown criminal investigative plot later. The summary is terse, but detailed enough to arouse the curiosity of any lover of adventure and crime genres.
