I do love mysteries and this one sounds very good. I would be interested to find out more about Arnold and his approach to the ransom ware problem. For my own comfort I will need to read the first three books in the series first.

Thanks for the great review! I don't read many books about cyber-crime, but this one sounds like a real page-turner! Not being able to trust those around you when you are on a dangerous assignment would be terrible! I liked your statement about this book being 'a nail-biter,' It lets me know this is a book that holds you in its grip from beginning to end!

I usually don't go looking after cyber-thrillers, but this looks promising. I look forward to seeing how Gold dealt with the situation

A cyber-thriller sounds exciting, and this fast-paced story sounds like it will have readers on the edge of their seats. There are bound to be some surprising revelations and close-calls in this "nail-biting" book. Thanks for the lovely review.

I find a crime and mystery novel based on cybernetic aspects such as a ransomware attack attractive. The plot seems to be full of suspense to the point of prompting readers to formulate their own hypotheses and try to unravel the mystery. Sounds interesting.

Those who love techie stuff will enjoy reading this book. I am a fan of sci-fi/techno stories, but the sample did not appeal to me. The pace of this book is not as fast as I expected. Awesome cover and illustrations nonetheless. Thanks for your enthusiastic review.

I enjoy reading tension-filled cyber-thrillers or mysteries, so this book is certainly for me. I hope to find myself repeatedly held in suspense while I wonder how Gold’s issues would be resolved. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD.

I am not a big fan of cyber thrillers but this one sounds interesting. I do not think I could go into a job blind like Gold is. Thank you for your review.

Cyber thrillers don't really call my attention. However, as was explained in this review, the amount of suspicion adds to the thrill seeking one needs every once in a while. Thank you for that amazing review!

There was no aspect of this novel that I disliked as I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the novel and all of its twists. My favourite aspect of this novel was how the tension was maintained throughout the book. I found that even in the less eventful scenes, the element of danger persisted. I also liked how, despite not having read the previous three books in the series, I was never confused about the characters. The story was laid out in a manner that made it easy to follow and engage with.
I'm really glad this book works perfectly as a standalone because I loved the sample, and your review furthered my enthusiasm for this book, but I'm not sure I want to invest the time in three previous books.
Thank you!

I am not a huge fan of cyber thrillers but this one does seem exceptionally well done. Those who enjoy this type would probably enjoy the plot of the ransomware invasion.

A book that is full of suspense and filled with tension and suspicious characters always amaze the reader and keep them going on and on with a curiosity about what's going to happen next or who's the one behind what's happening, well Deadly odds 4.0 is one of that book. Outstanding review!
