Consider that I had to be quite vague because there are so many twists that I was at risk of including spoilers, anyway it's always a matter of taste. Thank you for your appreciation!markodim721 wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 13:04 I think the plot of the book, for my taste, is a bit strained. Still, thanks for the detailed review.

No, the story is not about supernatural, only some science fiction bits that receive a pseudo-scientific explanation. Thank you for your appreciation!Kirsi_78 wrote: ↑06 Aug 2021, 14:40 Wow, this book sounds like it has enough action for ten books! I was already out of breath after reading your review. If I got it right, there’s not too much supernatural stuff included. In a right set of mind, I might actually enjoy reading this. Thanks a lot for a thorough review!

Yes, the pace is very fast and there's a pseudo-scientific explanation for what happens to Annie. Thank you for your appreciation!

The errors were not distracting but another round of proofreading would certainly be good. Thank you for your appreciation!

Luckily, the relationship between the protagonists was developed in bits, so it doesn't take away from the action. Thank you for your appreciation!Rwill0988 wrote: ↑07 Aug 2021, 17:56 Sounds like an excellent read. Action throughout can be hard to maintain but it sounds like this did it well. How distracting was the relationship throughout the book? If it takes away from the action I'd be less likely to read this. Thanks for the informative review!
