Thanks for making this book of the day. My favorite genre. Always like to find new authors. I think the review is very well done.

This book sounds really interesting. I love mystery and detective stories. I especially love it when there are multiple events that happen that are seemingly unrelated at first but then they all come together at the end, it's really cool and this book seems like that kind of story. Great review!

Great review! I love mysteries that make you think. I also love mysteries that occur in places I have visited before such as Acapulco. I can't wait to read this book! :D

Wonderful review! This sounds like such an exciting read! What's even better is that while reading this, I can learn more about the Mexican culture. I love learning about different cultures. I got the book and can't wait to read it! :)

Sounds like a good read, but I usually can't start in the middle of a series. Maybe I'll check out the first one. Thanks for the great review!

Sounds intense and mysterious. I like that it's well written and researched and that it centres around the cartels. That's sure to add an exciting dimension. Thanks for your review.

Awesome review. Outside of the descriptive writing style with violence, it sounds like an interesting read.

This was an impressive review, I'm not one to normally sink my teeth into crime fiction, however your review highlights the book in such a way that anyone would be encouraged to read it. Thanks for the awesome review!

Great review. The book intrigues me. I plan on reading it. Do I need to read the other books before it first? Should I read them first? From your review it sounds like they wrap up but I am wondering if references are made to prior books.
