The review is well written, filled with mystery and intriguing. It is honestly a great review.

Kennedy sold me the moment they mentioned Alton is an classic, imperfect vigilante and that everyone (and everything) isn't want it seems.

It makes you wonder what is really going on behind the seens. The only thing that might put me off is the fact that Reid is a rapist.

This is an interesting fast-paced crime thriller highlighting extortion, sociopathy, blackmail, murder, suspense, and unique characterization. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

I liked it. Well written story, good flow and characters and pace. Simple, 'Bond'ish' main character who has all the connections and tech toys needed to get the job done. Written in a way to provide the reader good visuals. And, I thought, a little dig, and a little humor tossed at the pampered peoples the masses love to throw money at. Well edited and nice cover design.

Intriguing review! I'm normally oen for fantasy books but the idea of reading something the depicts how Hollywood can be and the sinister side of it sounds like something that will be stuck in my head for months! Can't wait to give this book a read

I always find it captivating when the story is told from anti hero's perspective. It seems that Reid is a dark and awful character. I'm not a fan of thrillers so this is not a book for me. I'm sure other readers will enjoy it. Great review.

The book was of moderate length, and it utilizes simple diction with seasoned vocabulary. It also features unique characters, well-rounded with perfectly balanced emotions. Alton, for example, was portrayed as a classic vigilante, neither perfect nor cliché. He was good at his job and cared for others but still made mistakes like any other person. This made the book relatable. The book adopts a dark theme of betrayal and mistrust, though there are still underlying happy moments, like some scenes with Blair and Cameron.

You are completely right. Black-and-white character development, and villains that are completely evil or heroes that embody absolute perfection can easily make me dismiss a book. So I applaud the multidimensional development of Alton. And what better backdrop for a mystery than Tinseltown?
Great review!

This book of the day ( BOTD) is C/T/M/H and #goodreads .. unlike his first effort which a couple main character I love every character in this book it's make the stroy edgy and twisted ene. Alton the best fixer I Hollywood makes some unexpected misstep and his darker side is more evident when events involved beyond control.vanity is the underlying motivator for all characters especially to whoever has work on entertainment industry #true story this book is #unpredictable fun

Thanks for your review. While Reid is no good guy, it seems Alton is not entirely heroic either.

Not my cup of tea. Differently from the reviewer, I was very much able to put the book down. I found the writing style quite repetitive and slow-paced. It did not push me to continue reading it.

Dark Vanity by Gregory E. Seller is a thriller that narrates the dark details and secrets of Holywood star Reid’s true nature. Congratulations BOTD!
