I love fictional crime novels, and I am glad the author shows the prevalence of human trafficking, which is still present today! Human trafficking is slavery. This sounds like an excellent book. I look forward to reading it! Thanks for the informative and interesting review!

Sounds interesting. I'm not familiar with the character of Dr. Nolan, but it seems this is a series of crime dramas right up my alley. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

I was hesitant at first since this is not my usual go to, but as soon as I started to get into it, I could not stop. The realistic emotional fluctuations in Dr. Nolan, the banter between him and those he interacts with, it is refreshing.
You could feel his rage and hopelessness at the circumstance surrounding Lien.
I am curious to see where it goes!
(As well as how he will approach the Sheriff about his medical results.)

A young Asian woman who walked into Dr. Nolan's clinic, finding her murdered and written off by the cops, he couldn't help but feel attached to her. This is a sad one because in real life one will want to find out what really killed that woman, was it through modern-day slavery that is human/sex trafficking which is still prevalent or a pandemic "covid 19". Since it leaves me or readers wondering what Dr. Nolan will get into next. I want to read more on that. :techie-studyinggray:

This book sounds like it has everything mystery, intrigue, and murder. Human trafficking is a terrible crime, it is deeply upsetting and beyond me how anyone can do it! For this reason, I am not sure I can read this book despite the fact I love a good detective book. Congratulations on a great review!

I'm also curious with the meaning of the book's title. I guess I just have to read the book to find out. I always enjoy a good myatery book, I may also checked the other books in the series. Thank you for the review.

Judging by the presentation of the main character, the plot and theme of this book, its a masterpiece. to add to the mix, covid-19 was also thrown-in to make the novel more relatable. Congratulations on this wonderful review.

This is an interesting fast crime fiction thriller novel highlighting detective investigation, an international conspiracy, mystery, secrecy, truth, danger, and adventure. The book is temporarily discounted on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review.

I think I'd like Dr. Nolan, especially considering his humane personality. This seems like a great novel to read. I really hope the Asian woman got justice at last!
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen
