Lots of suspense. I liked the way the story started with a kidnapping. Dr. Nolan is on his way home after work and he gets taken by two men who seem familiar to him. You certainly want to read the rest of the story to find out what happens to him and why they kidnapped him in the first place.

Dr. Nolan is the subject of a suspenseful tale in which he is abducted while returning home and the story has many twists and turns!

Contrived[/]: A Dr. Sean Nolan Mystery" by E.W. Johnson M.D. I like the suspenseful opening scene and the interaction between the characters. I also like the mention of the incorporation of medical information and the author's inclusion of current events. Overall, it seems like an interesting book to read and thanks to BOTD! I now have a free copy to thrill myself with.

Thank you for the review, like you, I also prefer to read these in order; no doubt you've got it figured out now, but it appears the first one in the series is Unraveling: A Dr. Sean Nolan Mystery. I'm excited to read them.

Today's BOTD is a suspenseful eighth-in-series thriller that could be read as a standalone. Filled with mystery, suspense, and action-packed scenes, readers of the genre will surely be on the edges of their seats wondering what happens next! I've downloaded my copy; thank you for the helpful review! :-)

I enjoy books with mystery solving and a touch of suspense, to keep me focused, but not too much of it. Dr. Nolan character seems to propel the storyline into more fascinating adventures. I like your review.

Reading this review and a sample of the book really piqued my interest. I love that the first chapter begins with a seemingly ordinary man running his ordinary medical office, and then adds suspense right at the end of the chapter. It was hard to put the book down! I am excited to keep reading and find out what this doctor has gotten himself into.
