Great review, ALynnPowers! Sometimes, I like books that get right to the point - the meaty part of the book. However, I do worry about how much action-packed this read is. I need a balance of action and other things happening. Oh well, we'll see! Thank you for your thoughts!

Thanks for the review! I have read only a small amount of crime boss fiction; I think this will prove intriguing.

Contract Pending by Al Marsiglia is a great thrill ride, and one I'm really going to enjoy reading. It's often difficult to review a Thriller without giving away too many spoilers, but you have done an admirable job teasing us just enough and leaving us wanting more! Thank you for an extremely well thought out review that I enjoyed very much!

This sounds like a really interesting read, thank you for your review. I can see how authors might think that focusing on the action might be best, but some character development is always necessary for the story to flow properly. Great job!

Really nice review but I don't think this book is one I would add to my to-read shelf.

The story seems good enough to give it a try, i like the fact that it is "action-packed" as i like those kinds of things. I might not feel emotionally connect to the characters and story of a "mission impossible" movie but at least ill enjoy all the action and special effects in it. thank you for the review anyway. -Simon

Great review. I generally don't read this kind of story, crime families and the like but I really like your review and I do love a good suspense novel. Another plus is that it sounds like a fast paced, lightweight read. I grabbed a copy as the author has made it free today. Win-win. Thanks for sharing.
