What a unique setting for a murder mystery! And I'm sure a female manager plays out interestingly.
Thank you for your review.

This is an interesting murder mystery fiction highlighting the inner working of an oil rig, a discovered body, and trying to solve the mysterious murder. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

Well explained . I love that they do not give spoilers and that is going to make readers more curious about who the killer is and I also love that is teaches us about the oil business. I’m excited to find out how Charlie and the others are going to catch the killer .

The dynamic prologue piqued my interest immediately. This is certainly a great way to kick off a murder mystery - setting the stage; providing a terrific description, both physically and emotionally, of the victim; and committing the crime. I love books that begin with a bang, and this one certainly does!

This book sounds really interesting although I've never really thought much about oil rigs and what goes into working for a company that revolves around them. I like the fact that the main character involved in solving this mystery is a female and she not only serves as the point person to figure out the murder, but she's also teaching George, her male partner in solving the crime, about her occupation. I may have to add this book to my shelves!

A novel that follows Charlie, a rig supervisor in the oil industry, as she tries to solve a murder that occurred on her rig. The book is the first in the Oilfield Mysteries series and it introduces the reader to the world of oil drilling, the challenges and dangers of the job, and the superstitions and rumors that surround it.

It's always great when a book can surprise you with a reveal of the mystery yet you can still trace it back to the information that was given. Also using a person that is learning to convey information naturally instead of info-dumping makes for a more enjoyable read. Seems like the author knows what they are doing. Great review.

Your review makes the book seem interesting. A double murder-mystery with plenty of suspects to choose from, seems worth the time. Thank you for the review.

I love a mystery that keeps readers on their toes with twisted clues. Reading the clues is always more enjoyable when you have to think intensely. I can't wait to read the rest of the book to see if I guessed the killer. Thank you for writing an insightful review.

Murder mysteries are right up my alley. Strong female leads, I never say no to that. And a setting which is completely new and unknown to me, oil drilling, makes it all the more appealing. Adding to my 'to read' list.
