I’ve wondered for a long time whether we should let young children make this kind of decision. I think not. There are a lot of other things that we don’t let them do until they understand the consequences. Drinking, driving, and voting are just some of those things. Congratulations on BOTD!

Your review portrays “Plausible Liars” by Lin Wilder as a thought-provoking exploration of one of today’s most contentious social issues. Through compelling characters and a gripping narrative, Wilder tackles the complexities of gender transition and detransition with nuance and sensitivity. The book deftly balances multiple perspectives, including the influence of faith and the legal ramifications of actions taken to support or oppose gender transition in children. This story is not only timely but also challenges readers to consider deeply their own beliefs and the societal implications of these sensitive topics. Nice review!
