Sometimes a good ghost mystery is nice to read. I really like how the author tied in facts with fiction; it helps me learn something new, which is always positive in any read. Too bad about the areas that dragged and the romance that seemed unrealistic. Though, I'm glad that you were able to enjoy most of the book, regardless!

Thanks hsimone! It was still enjoyable despite the slowness of the beginning. It's worth a read.

I read a lot of mysteries (they're my favorite  ) and I find too many of them have really slow beginnings. I think a lot of author's have difficulty finding a way to seamlessly set the scene. I do like that this one mixes mystery with the supernatural. Great review!

A very nicely written review. I love mysteries. I love it when there are many people who are suspected of murder and have very real reasons to do the murder. As a reader, it is fun to guess 'whodunit'. Looks like a book I would pick up and enjoy reading :)

Thanks for the review!

Sounds interesting - a ghost trying to clear its name. Romance in books that are not totally devoted to the theme is really hard to pull off but the story seems interesting enough to entertain me. Thanks for the detailed review.
