Southern Justice by Terrance J. Aldridge is a gripping tale of courage and resilience set against the harsh realities of 1961 Mississippi. Through Mario Jacobs’ pursuit of justice for his grandparents, the story exposes racism, corruption, and the strength needed to confront them. A must-read for fans of politically charged mysteries and action-packed thrillers. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Sadly, racism prevailed in many countries for so many years. Subjecting other humans to intimidation and abuse is despicable. Killing old people by forcing their car off the road is unforgivable. I hope Mario finds the perpetrators and can bring them to justice. Courage and perseverance are wonderful character traits and can teach others to improve their lives. Thank you for your informative review.

Discovering the conditions around the death of one's grandparents can be challenging for someone like Mario who is mild-tempered. It will make you feel like going on a killing spree.
I can wait to read the book and discover the end of the hunt for those responsible for Mario's grandparent's death.
Thanks for the review.

"Thank you for the targeted and insightful assessment! It appears like Southern Justice offers a effective and concept-upsetting narrative that mixes suspense with a strong message about racism and perseverance. I respect how you highlighted the balance between the acute, uncomfortable scenes and the overall importance of the story. The audiobook’s narration by means of Scott LeCote additionally seems to were a standout element, including to the emotional depth of the novel. I’m clearly adding this ebook to my reading list. Your assessment actually captured its essence!"

This sounds like a heart-touching story too. 'This suspenseful and fast-moving novel focuses on the racism, corruption, and abuse Mario’s family and friends suffered at the hands of the white people in Duncan.'

Racism is a cause for concern. I appreciate Terrance J. Aldridge for addressing it in "Southern Justice". I hope it is eliminated so that everyone can cohabit peacefully. Congrats on BOTD. Great review.

In "Southern Justice" we meet Mario Jacobs, a nice young black man just out of the Service with an expert degree in martial arts under his belt. Born in Mississippi, because of the terrible racism, his parents moved to Chicago to give him a better life, when he was 5. He just got word that his grandparents were dead, and it did not look like an accident. The "white" police were saying it was an accident,of course. Mario and his parents packed their bags to head out for the trip.He planned to send his parents home after the funeral and he is going to stay until he finds out who killed his grandparents and make them pay!
I can't wait to read this book, because I have only read the sampler. Great start!

How did southern justice, in the USA, work in 1961? Mario, from Chicago, takes it upon himself to investigate the death of his grandparents at the hands of racists in Duncan, Mississippi. If Mario finds the perpetrators, what then?

I look forward to Mario's story back in the 1960s, a time when he experienced terror, injustice, racism, and the violent death of his grandparents. Will Mario succeed in finding out what truly happened to his grandparents?
