I feel curious about the story, how it is gonna be that the tv station can ever expose a murder scene, it's not a part of a movie but it did happened actually, yes I wanna know the man behind or the source or should I say who's feeding them all these and helping the authorities to solve the case, and what is his motives of doing so he should show up I think, if he wanna help, well probably If my guess is right this man really wants to be called the director of the whole plot.
I want to consider buying this book.

Reading 'The Broadcast' by Liam
Fialkov was like unexpected dark
clouds on a perfectly sunny day.. It is
a psychological thriller contained in
460 pages. The story revolves around
four characters- Jonathan and Sarah ,
a married couple, Michael who is a
graduate and Stewart McPherson who
is a journalist ... The story portrays a
TV show "the broadcast" which
unravels murder mysteries from
decades ago. It is filled with drama ,
suspense, and of course the *"TIME
TRAVEL"* .. I loved it .. And if I have to
describe it in one word then I would say
****""""ENIGMATIC""""***** ..

It is interesting to know that the book mainly focuses on four characters. Another thing is that, though the book is theoretical yet the idea can be comprehended by anybody irrespective of their academic field of study. I long to read it. Thanks for the review.

I really like the plot. It's possible that I'll make this book my next review. It's interesting the possibility of time travel to solve a murder case. And I understand what you mean about less dialogue. I hate that too. I don't mind description as long as it's not too chunky and in a story-telling way that I understand what is going on. I might check this one out.

The characters seem to be fascinating. However, the lack of too much action makes it a tad boring for me. I guess I'll pass on this one.

Great review though!

An interesting plot. A spooky television show that solves multiple crimes by posting photos of the crimes being committed. Thanks for the review.

Itsan honest review
But it drew my attention more towards the downside of the book
As per me, psychothrillers need to have violence. And such a book need more dialogues and drama.
But yet I will give it a try since it is science

The author was able to capture my attention from page 1 and held it up to the last page of the sample. Intriguing. No other word can describe this book. Congrats!

MsTri wrote: 28 Feb 2018, 17:18 What a fascinating premise! As a reader who majored in Communications with an emphasis in Media and Journalism, not to mention a viewer who LOVES true crime television, I'm very intrigued by the idea of a tv show showing "footage" of long-closed cold cases. I'm also curious how certain characters factor into the story. So, I guess I'll have to find the time to read this... Thanks for the introduction!

This seems like a very interesting way to explore the premise of time travel. I liked the extract, and would be interested to see how the whole story ties together as it still felt a little disjointed where the extract left it.

A psychological thriller about mystery, time travel, conspiracy theories, spiritual journeys, a television network that goes back in time ....... quite unique. Am curious to know how Jonathan, Sarah, Michael and Stewart McPherson lives slowly starts to revolve around the TV show "The Broadcast". Lovely review.

Sarah watches a TV show and realizes the stories are based on old crimes and one is connected with her past? Hope she'll be able to find her missing son! I like how the author seems to blend the four character perspectives slowly and that he seemed to care about his characters. Too bad about the rushed ending, the lack of dialogue, and lack of action. However, I'm glad that you were still able to enjoy this one regardless. Thank you for sharing!

I read the entire sample of this one today, and then your review. The one thing that jumped out at me while reading, and you mentioned it here, is the lack of dialogue and the continuous description by the author. This really made it dry for me. I think the storyline and all the people involved were well written, but it took a lot of effort to read the pages. I like interaction between characters to explain circumstances versus telling me the scene. It makes me feel distant as a reader while dialogue puts me in the scene. Good storyline though like you said here.
Everything happens for a reason...
