Currently, the connection between Russia and conspiracies might be enough to make a thriller interesting. The addition of a paranormal element makes the story more complex, also because of the explanations that are given throughout the novel, so it might be perfect for readers who appreciate stories that include ESP and other mental powers. Thank you for your great review!

The cover of "Rasputin's Nephew" by Marc J. Seifer is appealing. The narrative itself appears to be captivating. I trust that Rudy was able to obtain the information he required and that he survived the assassination attempts. Congrats on BOTD. Excellent review.

Good in depth review! Gives me enough information to know that that's not a book I would be interested reading. I like the entertaining factor of conspiracies and ESP stuff, but the long drawn out explanations plus the tired and often prejudiced take on the cold war doesn't interest me much at all

This book combines two of my favorite topics: history and the possibility of ESP abilities. I can understand that if this latter topic doesn't interest you, you might have found the technical explanations to be too much. I've read other books by this author, and I know he can build a thrilling story. Thank you for your review.

Congrats on BOTD!
In Marc Seifer's gripping novel Rasputin's Nephew, paranormal intrigue and Cold War conspiracies collide as journalist Rudy unearths a network of telepathy, ESP, and unexplained deaths while Russian leaders scheme a new war. It's an exciting book for lovers of conspiracy and the paranormal, full of action-packed turns and a thorough exploration of psychic phenomena.

I find paranormal topics such as ESP, psychokinesis, and telepathy appealing. It's also a plus that the book has a plot with enough thrills, mystery, and suspense. The excess of overwhelming technical terms is not my cup of tea, but it may be educational. Sounds interesting.

Rasputin's Nephew by Marc Seifer appears to be a book that will appeal to readers who enjoy detailed technical explanations. The book delves into topics such as telepathy, espionage, and geopolitics, making it especially intriguing for those interested in these themes. I might consider giving this one a pass.

I really enjoyed this review, it’s well written and insightful. I can agree with you about the technical stuff. I started reading this book before reading the review and found myself lost in the prologue in a way. The prologue mentions a lot of characters, and this review explains that for me. I will likely continue to read it because I love a good action/sci-fi story. Thank you for your review.

Definitely my kind of book!
The first two paragraphs brought flashes of 'The three body problem' to my mind except that the Trisolarians are the Russians lol.
Sure looking forward to reading. Congrats on BOTD.

"Rasputin's Nephew" by Marc J. Seifer provides technical and scientific details related to ESP, psychokinesis, mental telepathy, and other paranormal topics. This book is a great source of learning for anyone interested in science and psychology. The author is an expert in this field and has provided high level guidance on the topics. We can learn a lot about the struggles in a real world scenario where betrayal and conspiracy is common place by learning from the examples in this book.

I feel like the technical explanations would be too much for me to enjoy the book, even if is it a page-turner with a plot moving smoothly along. The comment about the multiple characters not immediately being defined as good or bad, does intrigue me so I may give this book a try, especially since the author was so kind to make it free for BOTD.

Thanks for this amazing review! Just reading your review made me want to read "Rasputin's Nephew"! The blend of paranormal intrigue, conspiracy, and action sounds captivating. However, the technical jargons seem like a lot to digest. I'm worried I'll get lost in the scientific explanations too. Congratulations to the author!
