This seems quite an intense thriller that might be excellent with another round of proofreading. Thank you for your great review!

The review is an awesome review! Thank you. I LOVE it too when there are no loose ends and superficial characters. I'm sure this will be a really interesting book to read.

I love anything to do with lakes so this book should be my kind of book. And to know what is after the characters while they don't sounds cool. I really want to read this book now.

I enjoy books with layered and deep characters. Also, horror, thrillers, suspense, and mystery are some genres I'm really into. Your review caught my curiosity, now I'm going to sample it. Too bad it had so many errors. But it still sounds great. Thanks for the informative review!

You say that "It almost seems as if the author lived through the events and has psychologically evaluated the characters – he wrote about their strengths, weaknesses, motives, fears, histories, plans, and deeply hidden thoughts."
The characters are the author's creation and as such, the author decides what "their strengths, weaknesses, motives, fears, histories, plans, and deeply hidden thoughts" are. In my opinion, the talent is to pass on this information to the reader, the characters' credibility in the eyes of the readers is the measure of the author's mastery or "intelligence" as you call it.

This certainly seems like quite the thriller – I agree with you, a story where only the reader knows "whodunnit" is a different kind of thrill entirely. I hope that the author takes your suggestion to improve the editing, as it seems to be the only major factor keeping it from a full rating. Thanks for the review.

I'm not a fan of horror books, so I'll l pass this one. This is a well-detailed review, though.

The book sounds interesting and full of suspense. Moreover, I am happy about the "insider trading". The book seems to present a complex reality as is life. Great review!
It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone.

It is interesting that the perspective of the book lets the reader in on the secret early on. A risky move, yet can be even more satisfying if it gives us a better understanding of character motivation and choices. From your review it is clear that the author has succeeded to a great extent and definitely looks to be an interesting read. Thanks.
