This book seems to be a tough one to read , however it teaches the need for one to be alert and pay attention to details in the life of children. Murder and Child Abuse is not to be over looked or taken for granted. It should be dealt with.

Thanks for the review. The details on the site were sparse and I really wanted a more detailed view. This sounds very Law and Order SVU-like which is right up my alley. I appreciate the warnings about the graphic content.

I find your point about the portrayal of men interesting because I think that is a stereotype we often see in our culture. Obviously, it serves a purpose in this book, but why must we continue to always characterize men like this?

Christmas Murder by Betty Schultz is a murder mystery which solved after 20 years. The cover is certainly very beautiful as the reviewer said. Congratulations on #BOTD.

This story surrounding murder and child abuse seems mindblowing to read. Personally, I cannot stomach these key themes since they're really emotional and heartbreaking.

A book that tells the story of a murderer from such a murderer's perspective seems unique to me. I also appreciate the storyline of this book, and I'd like to read the book.

This is a great book to use to raise awareness of child sexual abuse. I believe in balance in all things, so I believe there will be a percentage of males and females that are affected by revealing costumes, but that cannot categorize all. I'm willing to read this because it's from the point of view of the murderer. Congrats for BOTD.

Quite a chilling account where someone admits and narrates about the murder of her little sister. Thanks for the insightful review.

As you mentioned, this is a unique book, both in content (plot) and point of view of narration. I'm very interested in checking the sample out now. The stereotypes inherent in this work are worth one star. I think you've done a great job on this review.

Coming from the person who commited the crime is somerhing that hardly happens making rhis even more appealing. It also seems to deal with some hard subjects that need to be talked about. I would read it.

A nice story line. I wouldn't mind reading it. I agree with your view that the stereotype might affect the male audience because of how me have been painted in this book. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD selection

I love reading crime and mystery genres. The perspective used in the narrations of the story in this book sounds unique. I like the fact that the story is short. Sometimes a short story can be more captivating than a long one. I will check this book. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I usually don't read such emotional books but this is quite rampant everywhere. Reading this book might help me understand a bit more about them and what they might be going through. Thanks for the great review.

The author seems to have done a pretty good job writing about these sensitive topics in a way that would captivate the reader without being too graphic. I think it's interesting to read from the murderer's perspective, especially since James admits that he did something wrong. I'm intrigued to find out how the story will end. Thanks for the honest and insightful review!
