Between the mystery, the paranormal events, and the memory loss problem, the novel seems to be engaging and entertaining. I understand the problems of memory loss and how it can affect every aspect of your life, so the book will be very touching for me personally.
Great review very honest and well-written.

It will be enthralling to follow Hattie and Vamelda as they search for answers about her past and come to the realization that there are other mysteries, some quite dangerous, that need clarification as well.

I appreciate your fantastic review. With its mystery and paranormal aspect, this novel seems like it would be interesting. I'm curious if Hattie's amnesia is related to any paranormal powers.

“Hattie Vavaseur” by M. Rebecca Wildsmith is a story that takes place in the 1920s in England and is about a wealthy elderly and arrogant woman who never wanted people to think less of her if she forgot something or did something wrong. She received a call from her driver letting her know that her taxi had arrived, and she could not remember where she was going and when she arrived at an old mansion, she did not know why she was there. The next day she was driven into town to meet with a psychic named Vamelda and her initial reaction was she did not like the lady. When Vamelda offered to help Hattie find answers to why she had memory problems she warmed up to her. The story contains mystery, action and suspense and Hattie was confronted by Vamelda who told her she was dead. It is a well-written book that is very easy to read. Vamelda is a psychic that can actually see dead people and the paranormal and romantic aspects made the story very enjoyable. The sample provided an in-depth look at the characters and the official review was excellent.

This book seems to be well written with good characters and an intriguing storyline, but I will have to pass on this book, as I'm uncomfortable with some of the contents mentioned in the review. Thank you for the review.

Your review is awesome, Prisallen! I've sampled the opening episode of Hattie's taxi ride to the mysterious mansion, and I enjoyed every moment! Like you, I would give it all stars. And your review has put my initial impression into perspective, as it explained that it is an absorbing crime mystery with a sprinkle of paranormal.
