I am generally not very interested in murder- mystery stories. However, the review of this book has piqued my interest. The detailed focus on the cultural aspect of the cambodian people is an added plus.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller/mystery following a journalist and private detective tasked with investigating a series of murders in a local sewing company. The issue is that the official investigation is bogged down in red tape and the murderer is still on the loose. Will the journalist and detective solve the case? It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Reviewer, I take your word that the book is "pleasant to read". Whodunits are right up my alley. Congrats to the author on a gripping BOTD.

In A Story of Bad by Edward M. Krauss, the plot seems to hold intriguing elements in its fold, and I would like to know how the duo, a journalist and a detective solve this murder mystery.

Although the cover is not eye catching, but after I've read your review, I find that this book is quite interesting. I like mystery fiction, and this book has a good story, the murder cases which handled by detective Terry Sans. But there is also a romantic story between the detective and a journalist. Interesting. Thanks for your nice review.

I can't wait to continue reading this novel. The sample itself was captivating from the word go. The fact that you as reader can't figure out 'whodunit' till the end is a plus to me. Thanks for a wonderful review!!

This book seems to offer a crime thriller full of suspense and intrigue, which promises to hold your attention until the very end. Certain aspects like the journalist and the detective solving the case and the relationship later taking on a romantic note are a bit cliché. However, I appreciate the attention to detail in the story and the inclusion of details concerning Cambodian culture to give it more veracity. This is definitely my kind of story, so I already want to read it. Thanks for this interesting review.

All you had to tell me is that this was a murder mystery and I'm getting it. This plot of this book has piqued my interest in finding out what happened to the owner of this factory and what does this second murder have to do with it? Lots of questions that need to be answered. I'm down for the ride.

Based on your review, The Story of Bad seems like it would be a really good read. One very important thing in murder mysteries is always the development of the characters as a mystery always needs compelling evidence and psychology. I'm glad that this book seems to include this. However, I am curious to know if there are more mysteries than just the murder because while the characters may be intriguing, I also would love an intriguing plot to go along with them.

This is a murder mystery thriller. Intriguing fiction about the muder of the owner of a family sewing business and one other worker. Interesting dynamics between the journalist and the detective. A well written book and a good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

This is a murder mystery and at the heart of the mystery is the ComFitter factory. A journalist named June Replyn and detective Terry Stains and determined to solve these murders. There are several suspects including Victor Pritkin's children. The author presents evidence throughout the book and when readers think they know who committed the murders, new evidence turns the investigation into new directions. A very good official review that should motivate many members to read this book.
