I am not the biggest fan of vampire stories, but I must say that the plot of this book is interesting. It's great that the author told the story in chronological order, makes it easier to follow.

The comparison of this book to twilight and blade is extraordinary. The use of some bible stories and a little exaggeration is so engaging. The fact that the detective ends up engaging himself in issues that are not of his world is a great twist. I think I would love to find out what happens to Danny after this ordeal.

When a writer combines the supernatural with crime and investigation, you are bound to have an intriguing story. And from this review, this story is quite intriguing. Kudos to the writer. Insightful review by the reviewer

It was a really big twist when I got to the vampire's plot. This is an excellent review, I'm compelled to give the book a try. Thanks.

I love that the book is action packed with elements of the supernatural within a mystery novel. However, I am not fond of novels that talk about vampires.

This book review reminds me of "vampire dairies" and "the originals". Different plots though but similar as well. The spirituality and the crime makes me want to read it.

This is my type of book. I love a good supernatural novel that keeps me entertained and wanting more. These characters have a lot going on. Danny was a detective and somehow became a vampire. What is going on? Guess I'll have to read to find out.

In the past, I have always been fascinated by vampire stories. However, it kind of lost its fascination at a certain point for me. I see those stories as geared towards younger readers.

Sounds like a very interesting book. The book does have something for everyone it seems. The paranormal and crime combined stories are a bit rare in my reading list. This is definitely going there. Congrats on BOTD!!

The supernatural and paranormal, such as vampires, are typically up my alley. Combining the paranormal genre with the crime genre, while not new, is a good way to heighten the tension, and a splash of humor helps bring a good balance to such works. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen vampire lore go back to biblical stories, but it is the first time I’ve seen it tied to Cain rather than Judas or Lilith. Thank you for the helpful review.

I am not really interested in the vampire trope but I am intrigued by how crime was combined with the paranormal world. This book sounds exciting to me. I am also intrigued by how the mark of Cain is used in this book so congratulations on BOTD.

The storyline sounds interesting and captivating. Like one that will keep its readers glued till its last page. But for some other reasons I do not find this a piece I would gladly add to my reading list, as I have no special interest in tales of vampires and it's likes. People who love such, will definitely find this interesting. Great review.

Detective Daniel thrust into a realm with a constant voice in his head sounds creepy and interesting. I wonder how this book made the difference to stand out from the rest of the vampire novels. Thanks for the review! Congrats on the BOTD!

As if a serial killer on the loose is not bad enough, the protagonist also has to face supernatural beings such as the vampires and the
dark forces". Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

It seems like both Danny and the female vampire both have their dilemma to deal with. This has the making of a psychological thriller. I love the premise and I think I'd check it out.
