The way you wrote this review with these in-depth descriptions has got me interested in buying this book. Peter will do anything to get his family to safety.

"I admire how Elaine Broun captured the character's emotional response as related to the different scenarios. The story was so natural, realistic, suspenseful, and engaging that I had to check if it was based on a true-life story or a documentary."- This section alone got me interested in the book and I admire the reviewer for that. Great review. Thank you!

Wow! A gripping review. I already want to know of Peter and his family get away from Uruguay. The tension is palpable even in the review. Kudos on a great job.

This is a historical fiction book that emphasizes the importance of family over everything including a promising career. Again, the author refreshes readers' memories of the insurgent group in Uruguay at that time. Congrats to the author on being the #BOTD!

I am not a hug fan of historical fiction but the review is very interesting and piqued my interest. Family is everything and I love that he will do anything to keep his family safe. Moving to a different country must be a game-changer as well especially when you have to relocate your family. Great job on the review!

Wow!!! After reading the review, the book sounded like a real movie rather than a novel. It brought out emotions from me even as I have not read it yet. I can't wait to read it to know if Peter succeeded in saving his family. Congratulations on the book of the day.

The book was well-written and realistic. I wonder if Peter Gray's family had done something in the past to the Tupamáros or they were just unfortunate. Congratulations on BOTD.

This story sounds intriguing and thrilling. The non-US setting also makes the book more enticing. Im not always a big fan of stories involving things like insurgent groups, but this one could be worth a read. Thank you for the helpful review.

I've watched a couple of movies with a similar plot concerning someone innocent being hunted by the mafia. Whether I read this book or not would depend on the writing style. Hoping that it's fast paced. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

The reviewer's opening question is captivating and thought-provoking.
I certainly will not trade my family's peace for anything.
Being a debut novel, the author did a great job.
Congrats.

It's quite unfortunate that Peter and his family are experiencing violence from The Tupamáros. I hope Peter and his family make it out alive and in one piece. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD

The book is quite the read. Judging by the review, Elaine sure knows how to get her readers invested in her narration. I can imagine Peter and his family's fear.
