A collection of short stories can sometimes be skillfully demanding in order to sustain readers' interest. It's great, then, to read about Rolando Garcia's well-thought-out storyline and captivating narration across the various short stories in this book. But I am honestly concerned over the murder and violent scenes noted in this review.

Short stories are very relaxing to read at times, even if the themes are more dark then normal. I think I'd like to read the stories in this book due to the variety of topics presented. Thanks for the review!

Spirit Women by Rolando Garcia is a thrilling collection of supernatural tales that will leave you reeling in the wake of its magnetic appeal.

What I most enjoyed was, in fact, the length of the stories. I could easily get invested in the characters and their stories and managed to feel satisfied after each tale. Garcia has truly mastered the art of feminine psychological warfare. Then there was also the occasional placement of pictures amongst which my favorite would be the painting under the bridge in “The Ghost of Museum Bridge”. Its vivid colors and the very idea of this beautiful piece of art being presented to the crowds every time the draw bridge is lifted was sheer brilliance.
What on earth is "feminine psychological warfare"? The book comes free and is fairly short at only over 100 pages, so I think I can invest the time to learn about this warfare. It might come in handy. I also have no problem with the supernatural aspect.

The truth is that you have left me with a great desire to read Garcia's books, nos just this one. It is true that book with some kind of supernatural plots really call my attention, thin one really get it. The fact that they are also short novels which makes it much easier to read is another thing that attract me. Without commenting on the simple fact that as you mencioned Garcia has really mastered in this book the art of female mind. An absolute wonderful review :D !

A compilation of short stories with psychological and supernatural undertones definitely makes for an interesting book. I'm not a big fan of short stories, but with the way this book was tastefully written I believe people interested in this genre will appreciate it better. Congratulations on being the BOTD.
