The fact that modern-day slavery still exists is a travesty. I am curious to see how the author incorporates the story of the Russian mob boss Dragunov with the issue of slavery. This book seems interesting so congratulations on BOTD.

This is quite an informative and insightful book. The topic the book is based on is one which some people turn a blind eye to if it's not affecting them. This is indeed a masterpiece by the author. Congrats on getting the BOTD.

Whenever I come across a book that has child protection issues my interest is immediately piqued. This may be a fiction, but it is bound to be insightful; the context and setting are realistic.

The review sheds light on a dark and disturbing reality, modern-day slavery, which is still prevalent worldwide. It commends the author's boldness in sensitizing readers to this global issue through the characters in the story. This theme's significance cannot be overstated, and I appreciate the author for addressing such an important topic.

The review emphasizes the destructive nature of greed and its consequences, as demonstrated by the characters in the book. It serves as a reminder of the dangers of unchecked ambition. This insight into the characters' actions adds depth to the story and makes it more compelling. I'm intrigued to see how the repercussions of greed unfold in the narrative.

Human trafficking has been under-emphasized as it seems under the shadow of other vices like drug trafficking, terrorism, etc. The author exposed deep secrets and acts carried out in this wickedness. A great review.

It is great to know that Andrew Rafkin has thrown light on a supposed conquered evil that is secretly breeding at the backyard: modern-day slavery (also known as human trafficking). This is a serious threat to the sanctity of human life and dignity, and I hope the awareness created through this book will help bring this to an end.

It seems like the author undertook a monumental feat in creating this book. As you mentioned, the prime culprits of these atrocious crimes are prominent figures in governments and other highly influential industries, which can make writing a book against them difficult. This book sounds like it would offer a captivating thriller to read. Thank you for the review!
