Amazon samples tend to be quite generous, so I get a good idea of the book before I read our OBC reviewer's comments, it gives me wisdom about different ways to discuss my impressions of what I've read. I enjoy that facet of being here. Your review contained no spoilers, so I thought maybe the book would pick up, but you gave me no ideas of what was coming in the middle and late parts of the book.

It is an exciting novel, when it comes to the Arabic nations, they have been tagged mostly as the place to harbor terrorists, not that it is admirable but writing a novel based on this is interesting in my opinion.
