These stories sound unique and I will definitely enjoy poring over the book to learn more about Harper and what ties these characters together. One of the key issues that arises when one reads the review is whether Peter was found and what led to his disappearance. I have added the book to my shelf. Thanks for the review.

Harper’s Bizarre captivates you as Peter Dewberry mysteriously vanishes, drawn into the shadowy underbelly of the town. Mike Thorne's vivid depictions and interconnected characters ensure an exhilarating journey.

The author's portrayal of characters and the interconnected storyline is impressive. I appreciate the balance in chapter lengths, enhancing the overall reading experience. Despite the profanities, they seem fitting for the book's setting, adding an extra layer of authenticity.

I like the mix of a murder mystery and a fast-paced novel happening in a small and otherwise quiet neighborhood of Harper, Alabama. Thanks for the review.

Harper's Bizarreby Mike Thorne, just as the name implies is a series of bizarre stories that went on a small town called Harper. A middle-aged man, Peter Dewberry, takes a walk with his dog in the middle of the night to find his son's stolen bike. He refuses to listen to the voice of caution in his head as he walk through the 'dark' parts of Harper. Eventually, he found the bike but is unable to return home. In a matter of days, a search party began to look for Peter to ascertain whether the rumor about his disappearance was true.

The crime rate at Harper's Town is very high and seems to have so many strange things happening that I would definitely read Harper's Bizarre to understand why that was happening.

Hi @Cheryl Erickson, I too want to read the entire book. I have read 20% so far and I am anxious to learn the answers to the crimes. Do they catch the two guys that killed the dad over the stolen bicycle? There are several stories but I hope they circle back to finish off each story. @Mrlefty0706

You mentioned that the connection that brings all the characters in the story together is thrilling and this one line was enough to draw my interest into this book. Good job on the review. I like how wonderfully you've described the events that take place in the story by including the characters.
Congratulations on BOTD to the author!

Today's book is a collection of bizarre stories centered around the residents of a small town named Harper. The author did a great job linking the characters to each other in unexpected ways.

Hi @Aliu Oladimeji, for some unknown reason I am receiving a notification when a member replies to the BOTD official review. So I read your review and I liked it and also wonder if Peter's body will be found. I have read 20% of the book and I hope that each story has a additional story that completes the first story. Thank you. @Mrlefty0706
