This sounds like a novel worth reading. It interests me that it is not a traditional mystery novel in the aspect of finding out 'whodoneit' and instead focuses on justice. I enjoy novels that take on a psychological hue and will have to check this one out. Thank you for the excellent and informative review!

This does sound quite a bit different from a typical thriller. I'm interested in knowing who, if either, will actually get to the result of a cure or improvement for Alzheimer's first. And also, how that will impact them and their world. It sounds intriguing. Thanks!

this seems nice
actually I would love the passion of Pamela to set fame aside and achieve her goal in finding cure thou not everyone would do that. :)

I'm a huge fan of the C/T/M/H genre but I don't know if this plot is captivating enough to grab my attention. The review is detailed but I'm not sure if I'd be that interested. Perhaps the sample will be my deciding factor.

After that review @kandscreeley, I definitely want to read the book. It's a thrilling ride through the workings of two scientists.

Thanks for the interesting review! The storyline definitely intrigues me, and the blurb has me itching to turn the first page to see where this story is going. I'm really hoping that this story is engaging but I do enjoy a good thriller!

From the initial sampling of the book, I could say that I agree with you that it is indeed captivating. I've been so engrossed to read up to the very last words I've got access to, without any interruption at all. Your review just made me crave to finish the rest of the work and find out what happened (and that goodness will prevail). Thus, thank you.

This novel would be interesting to read to me. I imagine reading a book that contains challenging times because competitions definitely follow Scientific research.

The Prize
The competition in the medical field is fierce. And it is still a man's world, where women have to overcome even greater barriers, not being taken seriously for one. You can feel the tension and Holly's intense desire to keep her findings to herself. Intrigue, a modern topic of interest, Alzheimer, and the secrecy of Holly's action keep the pace of the story and capture reader interest.

I agree that you never know what you're going to get in the way of the C/M/T/H category! I'm glad you enjoyed this one. The competition is on as two scientists in the field of Alzheimer's research are trying to be instrumental in advancements. Perhaps if they join forces...? I'll just have to read the book if I want to know who gets the prize!

It's a world of competition to Pamela but more to those who are already famous. This book tells the length one can go to secure it's place. I Love this book
