The author created a beautiful relatable character that anybody may be interested in knowing more about her. I myself am curious to know about Harley's secret.

"The mist rises over Notochey Creek" is the first book in a series is Harley Henrickson, which is written by Liz S. Andrew. It is good look at life and the curves it can through at you. It is always a pleasure to be surprised by a book.
The title leaves the comment that this may be the first in a series which I hope will be the case. I throughly enjoyed reading this book. I plan to read them all.
Thank you!

A mystery with humor set in a small town is a book I enjoy reading. The fact that the book is well-written with vivid imagery and a moving, suspenseful plot will add enjoyment to reading this book. Thank you for the great review!

Your review is well-written and balanced, offering a good perspective of the book and also not revealing too much. Thanks much for this. I would like to read this book.

The cover page and the tittle are unpleasant but this can be overlooked. Being a character driven story, with a mix of humor, this is one of the books that I can not overlook no matter what.

This one sounds like the perfect cozy mystery to binge read. Harley, often thought to be the town nerd, is an angel at heart who even gives up her Harvard scholarship to take care of her ill grandfather. The plot of this book is really interesting!

The Mist Rises Over Notchey Creek by Liz Andrews is a #CozyMystery tale revolving around a murder in a #SmallTown. It follows a whiskey distiller and nerdy wallflower named Harley Henrickson as she discovers a multitude of secrets, lies, and sins.

The blurb and your review had piqued my interest.

Thanks for the review.

This book sounds like an entertaining and fun read. I love mystery books that are injected by humor in some instances. The author's style in writing, as you said, is creative and has a natural flow that can keep the readers' curiosities in his grasp. Can't wait to read this! Thanks for this thorough review!

After reading MY FRIEND Marilyn and The Maltese Falcon so close together, reading your review of this book had me immediately going to my bookshelves and adding it to my want to read collection. It sounds interesting yet funny, and I really would like to know about that giant model cupcake. Also, I recently got into Dolly Parton, so that mention of her sold me on it.

Sounds very interesting! Suspense and humor is a great combination to me. Also to read it compares to "Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series" made me more interested as I have read many books from the plum series. I look forward to checking this book out. Congratulations on BOTD.
