I don't usually go for murder mysteries, as they are not my preferred genre, but I did read the sample and it seems to be fairly harmless. I think it would be a great novel for some beach reading, but after the first few pages, I am pretty sure that I have the mystery figured out. Though, that does make me want to keep reading to find out for sure. This is on the want to read list for sure when I need some fluff. Thank you for this great review, and thank you for throwing that in about the religion. From the tone of the sample, it does seem that it would be unnecessary.

From the review, I can tell that this is a book I would enjoy reading. Action, mystery, murder and romance are my favourite type of books. Paint her dead has all these elements. Thanks for the review.

Nothing better than a good mystery with action and romance. That the crime is in an inn and in an art workshop is a plus to me because i work in hospitality and i am an artist. Gteat job and congratulations.

Wow!! The review is very thorough. I appreciate the way in which the errors in the plot are described. And the premise of the book seems intriguing. It seems the protagonist starts the story with complications, which only increase as the story progresses. And at the end, all these complications are resolved.. I'm sure this will make an interesting read and I'm going to add this to my TBR pile.

Wow! The review itself made me feel like reading the book, but the title of the book is also fascinating that everyone would want to know how Leah got involved in a murder case and the aftermath. Thanks for shedding light on this piece :geek2: .

What a great thorough review! Your thoughts on this book show how much detail you are able to pay attention to. Little key things that you picked up on, I am sure would not have made me think twice, such as the prayer that felt thrown in. This book sounds kind of fun for the most part. I will add it to my shelves. Thank you again!

From a sampling, this was an interesting crime/mystery novel. The characters seem well developed and for those that like the genre should give this novel a look. Well done.
