This thriller definitely sounds intriguing, especially the detail that Ernie becomes romantically involved with his prime suspect. What can possibly come out of that? Dora, Ernie's mother, sounds like a character I, too, would fall in love with. Actually, your description of her reminds me of my grandmother. Thank you for your review and introducing this book to us! I hope I'll find time to read it.

Gravnick

A mirder mystery that seems to have gotten out of hand stirs ip the mind of Ernie. The plot twists comes about in an odd way which keeps us wanting to read more. There is also romance between Ernie and someone that could be a suspect. Where is the evidence leading us to…the child or the lover?

The book is a twist of events, I would love to have an insight of how the son could be considered a prime suspect at the age of 13.

I appreciate your review; it is structured and written quite well. After sampling a few pages of the book, I agree with your assessment that the story is compelling. I particularly enjoyed the alternating chapters where the author explores the current timeline and provides background on Ernie's early life. The plot, especially when Ernie becomes involved with a suspect in the murder and the trauma connection between Ernie and the 13-year-old whose parents are the victims, is intriguing. Given that the book is available for free in today's giveaway, I'm eagerly anticipating reading it in its entirety.

This sounds like a great crime thriller and I'm already curious to read who the murderer is and how Ernie persevered to solve the case, especially with the possibility of a minor being responsible for such a crime.
