One sure-fire way for an author to get me sunk is the use of evocative descriptions. It seems that he was also able to intricately weave in a plot underneath a character-driven tale makes we wonder at his ingenuity. That the book shares its nuggets of wisdom in a somewhat poetic fashion sounds irresistible to me. I hope the errors are fixed soon. Thanks for the review.

Having personally dealt with mental illness such as depression, this sounds particularly intriguing. Definitely adding it to my list!

Its interesting how the story takes an unexpected turn providing an opportunity to Samuel to correct his life. It indicates that one must never loose hope. Great review by the way. I will definitely read it.

I would really want to give this book a try. The story sounds interesting and at the same time emotional with a message everyone would want to read. Thanks for the great review.
All things considered, I have to rate this otherwise magnificent book 3 out of 4 stars. If it weren’t for the numerous errors, I would have happily awarded it 4 stars. This is a book I genuinely believe everyone should get their hands on, purely for the masterful content and brilliant writing. That being said, the narrative does contain graphic and mature content that some might find upsetting. I would recommend this novel to those who enjoy both character- and plot-driven narratives, books with elements of drama, crime, and suspense, and stories that touch on human frailties.

Very nice review. This book seems to have imagination and a little adventure that gives it some intrigue. The characters sound interesting and the plot seems to have some twists and turns and feel good moments. I, however, don’t enjoy any stories where the main character is severely depressed or suicidal.

Finally, when reality dawns on us, we take a trip to the galaxy. I like this idea of books, I want to relate to the character at every level before he is thrown into the heroics, makes me feel the hero. When you are old and unsatisfied with life, You better be colonel Sanders and making it hit with Kentucky Fried Chicken, rather than committing suicide and sending us living people into further despair. Loved the review.

Writers had often been stirred into their literary gift by depression, for instance, in the likes of Edgar Allan Poe, or Edgar Rice Burroughs (coincidentally, both by the name Edgar) among the ones I could remember. Indeed, the human spirit responds to emotions of loss, dejection, or failures in life, which, fortunately for the able few, became expressed in print, for their benefit. Others just became suicidal, to their detriment. This novel inspires us to handle our depressive tendencies to benefit us. Thanks for the insightful review.

Right now am looking for a cheerful book and this one sounds too emotional. However, I will give it a try. Samuel is striving to add color to his life hence I can't wait to find what will happen. Thank you for a great review.
