The journey of uncovering the circumstances of her uncle's death is what entices me about this book. Zoe seems to be an engaging character, which speaks well of the writer's ingenuity.

I love crime thrillers and this one sounds intriguing. The review raised questions in my mind that make me want to read the book. What case was Zoey's uncle working on that got him killed? Did Zoey manage to solve the case that got her uncle murdered? I look forward to reading the book. Thank you for an engaging review.

The plot is not original, but I can forgive that as this is my go-to genre. But those plotholes (Sunday or Saturday?) dissuade me from reading Zoey's story. In a thriller, time is of the essence.

I hope Debi can address the issues soon.

This one seems to be an engaging crime story with an interesting protagonist. A murder and a cold case heighten the stakes of the story. I hope the author gets is proofread.

This was a great review! And, like you, I can see myself loving a book like this crime thriller. Zoey seems to be one smart and intuitive character, that knows her uncle who will not settle for less than the truth. I can not wait to read this book.

Great Review! I love a good mystery novel! It's a pity that it has many mistakes, but at least they do not cause major damage to the plot. Thanks!

The title, cover, or the premise did not interest me much. While reading the excerpt, a few inner thoughts of the central character irked me, too. I would have to pass this one. Thanks for the candid review, though!

This book kept me on my toes the whole read. Very well written as well.
I felt like a detective the whole time trying to help her crack this case! The authors way of writing made me feel as if I were there with her helping her. Loved this one.
