This sounds like a traditional detective story working through a murder with the added excitement of an exotic setting of Hawaii. I hope the culture and location help add twists and turns to this novel.

Great review. Thank you for showing me that I need to read beyond the sample pages given. I was very interested in the book and was tinkering with reading the rest of the book or not. Your amazing review made it clear that I need to finish the book!!

Mystery and romance mixed into one sound like a fun read! Matt and Kathy's relationship sounds intriguing as well. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

4 stars and not a single dislike. A little romance and a good mystery. This review makes this book sound like an excellent read. I look forward to reading it.

Having read the the sample, I'm inclined to compare getting through this book as requiring the patience hinted at by Mao's statement noted in your review. I notice that you do not mention anything about profanity or sexual content.

First of all, I would like to say that this is one very clear and structured review. I really enjoyed reading it. Now, about the book... I think it looks like a nice mix between romance and a crime story. I think it would be nice to see a depiction of a love relationship that makes you be better in different aspects of your life. Sounds like something worth reading. Thanks for your review.

A good murder mystery is quite different from the books we have been reviewing the past few weeks. I love action adventures and mysteries and this book is a well written murder mystery. Justin Fisher, a former cop in New Rochelle, died while on vacation with his wife. Detectives Matthew Hogan and Kathy Russel were called upon to investigate the victim's death. The preliminary report showed that two bags of drugs were found in Justin Fisher's pocket and, his wife, Lena Fisher, was nowhere to be found. Was it just an accident, or was he murdered? The gears started turning while reading the official review and my first thought was why was Justin Fisher a former cop? I applaud Justin for taking his wife Lena on an exotic vacation to work on their marriage. I am really glad we were given the entire book because I like the official reviewer want to find out what happened to Justin and how the detectives solve the accident or crime. I agree with the official review 4 out of 4 star rating.
