Nice! The title alone tells me that this is the type of story that I readily go with. I love science fiction and ancient origins stories. Oh, but it is not classified as science fiction although it contains many hard-to-explain concepts in science. And the review says if you are looking for a "traditional detective and murder mystery plot" you will not find it here. What could it be? Is it because of the science fiction and or the out-of-body experiences? Is it bordering on mysticism? I am more intrigued. And it really does not matter to me. I like thriller and mystery stories in different forms and presentations. I already have the major elements I like. The review says it is an interesting tale but somehow there are too many scenes of the same plot device used to move the story along. I would perhaps agree that it would affect interest. Just the same, I think I could live with it.

"Lost Secret of the Ancient Ones" is an engaging mystery, similar to Dan Brown's style, with science, history, and adventure. While the frequent focus on drug-induced experiences may be a drawback for me, the book offers an exciting plot and well-developed characters, making it a worthwhile read.

I am intrigued to find out where Maya travels and whether she finds her father and the Garden of Eden. This seems like a different kind of mystery novel, which I think I'd enjoy. Thanks for a great review, and congrats to the author on BOTD!

I always balk when religion and science are mixed, but the historical aspect and the research you say Reynolds has put in here pique my interest. The element of adventure portrayed in the exploits of Maya adds a sense of thrill to the story.

Today's BOTD is an exciting mystery novel where an archaeologist, Maya, is looking for her missing father, Alex Harrington. Dr. Harrington, a quantum physicist, has stumbled upon a secret that will put him and his daughter in harm's way. Will Maya figure out the clues sent by her father in time? It's a very intriguing plot, and readers who enjoy stories about ancient secrets will love this book. Congratulations on the BOTD!

A mystery book where Maya and her friends travel the world in search of the Garden of Eden and her father who has gone missing due to a secret he knows about the world. I love the fact that readers can learn while enjoying the story and how the book contains a lot of research about science and religion.

Its scary and confusing to feel connected to a stranger, for instance Maya seeing a stranger in abar and immediately feels the urge to know about him and in return finds out that he had something connected to her "her father's diary" it's really mind consuming trying to figure out all what could have happened and what next it's really a good start to dive into the mystery of ancient world. I enjoyed the travels mentioned and looking forward to reading more
