I like the notion that if a good cop doesn't stop a bad cop then there aren't any good cops. If we could do the little we can to help out when things are going wrong, the world would be a better place. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a really interesting story centred on crime. I'd certainly have a swell time reading it. Congrats on BOTD!

On reading the prologue my mind immediately raced to Black Lives Matter and police corruption! This from a seemingly mundane traffic stop. Obviously, I jumped the gun, but your review comes as a relief because I would have thought I am paranoid.

Crime thrillers are usually not my first choice for reading material. However, I appreciate that the author created characters with dimension. I don't like characters that are just good or bad but inhabit a bit of both. It will be interesting to explore the criminal's point of view and motivation. Overall, the themes this novel explores seem relevant and I appreciate the free book. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

It’s good to see a book that explores both the cop’s and the criminal’s side of the law to expose the corrupt system. It really shows how neither side is a clear-cut, good-or-bad, right-or-wrong situation; there are often varying shades of gray. Thank you for the helpful review.

This sounds really interesting and intriguing, although I don't really like police drama. Actually, I don't like and trust policemen in general but this might help me change my mind about it, hopefully. Anyway, thank you so much for this. I'm looking forward to reading it.

This book is a crime thriller but it also focuses on some very important issues, regarding the image of the police and the grey nature of people who fall into crime. Thanks for the review!

In the society, I live in those who join the Police force are mostly those who have failed to get the jobs they desire. This means in most cases this is not a calling therefore chances of bad copness are high. Excellent review Justthereader you have me hooked.
