Vander Masozi had to face so many challenges which I am intrigued to know more about! I am definitely putting it in my reading list. The book has all the good elements to attract any mystery lover. Thank you for a detailed review. :tiphat:

Well I think it’s an intriguing review, I love the stress the reviewer puts on the question “why stay?” in an abusive marriage and how the reviewer lets the reader see the world from Vander’s perspective

Aside from the the dark themes addressed in this novel, this book looks extremely interesting. It does seem like an intriguing plot told from a child's perspective. I look forward to reading it. Excellent and informative review!

Making monsters is a book that will make you question your own decisions that you take in life. Quiet fascinating, At a young age, vander is up to a responsibility of caring for his family while struggling with abilities that he was yet to understand. This book highlights various social insues that includes the unique protagonist, death violence, domestic abuse, alcoholism and supernatural abilities, this is a very sensitive subject for me. This is a best and good review i can say, thank you.

This book is full of dark themes but I don't mind that. Vander having to deal with all these problems as a nine-year-old boy raises my sympathy. I look forward to seeing Vander crack the mystery and rise above the circumstances he was raised in. Congrats on BOTD.

Great review. I might have to pass on reading the book as the story's main concepts are sad and depressing.

The thrill of violence that is present in this book undoubtedly will drive me insane while reading. Plus, many other aspects such a domestic violence, and how a little boy with superpowers that he doesn't know how to use them, came up to tackle the problems around him are going to keep us attracted. Thank you for the review.

The book handles existential scenarios, that we would rather choose to assume their reality, which is a good thing. Masozi is undergoing what he, or any child, ought not to, but it is happening. Thanks for the enlightening review.

I, for one, will enjoy reading this book. It may be dark and gritty, but I have found some of my favorites can be. I also respect an author who writes everything in the open despite how dark it gets. I think it gives the author some brownie points in my point of view.
