The book made me nostalgic as well. It reminded me of my younger days, reading the Nancy Drew mystery books and trying to re-enact certain scenes in them. Thanks for the informative review.

For young readers,it's a good mystery book.
I can't wait to see the mystery and the logical approach Sweet Pickles took to solve the riddle of the missing ruby earring because the book seems so appealing from the review.
Thanks for the review.

Although I enjoy stories with mystery, I'm skeptical about the level of intrigue in the mysteries inside this book. Thanks for the detailed review though

This seems like a pleasant children's book. The thirteen year old protagonist loved to read. I guess this is one thing children can emulate when they read this book.

It's a fantastic idea to have a protagonist with a unique name like Sweet Pickles who solves mysteries. She is a typical teenager with an inquisitive mind. The story is relatable and believable because of the natural context of community life. Thanks for your review.

I agree, the title is guide a mouthful. I also agree that Pickle's adventures are, to coin my own word, childfondly. It's the type of story book parents would do well to seek out for their children.

This book sounds like something I would have read as a kid, before I started getting into more “adult” books. Heck, it’s a book I’d read now as an adult. I love that it’s a female child detective and that dogs and reading play prominent roles in the story. Thank you for the helpful review.

Children solving mysteries—I'm going to love this book. Jennifer already feels adorable. The author deserves admiration for encouraging a can-do attitude in children.
