Harper's Bizarre by Mike Thorne is an exciting crime thriller about bizarre deaths and events in a small town. I was absolutely intrigued after reading the book's description and the OBC review. Reading the first chapter, I was convinced I'd love this book. I was actually willing for Peter to stop his hunt for the stolen bike and return home. The suspense and thrilling narrative were delivered with incredible finesse by the author. I have added this book to my reading list. Congratulations on the BOTD!

The first thing that caught my eye was the creative wordplay on the title. I'm intrigued to know more about the mystery surrounding Peter's disappearance, and as a fan of descriptive writing, I think I should give this a read. Thanks for sharing your insights!

I like bizarre stories. A town that is filled with interesting happenings will be quite enjoyable to read. What's the connection of all these stories? That's something else I'd like to find out.

Really well-written review. I like the idea of a plot where something sinister is happening, and am curious to find out why. I like the set up of a small town, yet some unexplored parts of it which could be thrilling to say the very least. Looking forward to read this book!!

Positive and negative aspects aside, I find the plot genuinely captivating. I'm currently looking for books that deviate from the rosy, all's well that ends well, and this one aligns perfectly with the genres I'm currently delving into.

A town with numerous crackheads and an increased crime head, instances of schizophrenia, and a man poisoning himself and his family! Though challenging to grasp, this appears to be a reality in many parts of the world. Adding to my TBR!
