Jack Winnick once again surprises us with his writing. A story with poisoning and terrorism is not something we usually see, but Jack managed to involve everyone with his horror writing and still remain with a love between Lara and Uri. It's impressive how he manages to convey the entire essence of the characters like in previous books.

I've read the preview and the concept is agreeably well thought out. Poisoning the water supply as a terrorist attack isn't unheard of but it less notable than the more aggressive counterparts, creating a more horrific view of the possibilities its opened.

As much as I agree with you that the scientific part of it was enjoyable, the narration seemed a bit too clinical and superficial. Although that might just be because of what I usually read and the fact that I only read the preview, it probably got better the further along the book for all I know.

All in all a great and straight to the point review.

It's such an interesting book. I'm eager to find out what could possibly be more dangerous and how are they gonna find those who polluted the water. I really appreciate for the book author and the review. Thanks so much

Poisoning a city's water supply? Talk about a plot twist! The mix of real-world tech and historical tidbits is like a spy thriller meets a history lesson – count me in! I'm loving the idea of Lara and Uri dealing with undercover life and family planning while saving the day. The urgency you described and the personal touch to their spy lives sound like a rollercoaster ride. Plus, the fast pace and crisp editing are like the cherry on top – sign me up for a smooth reading experience.
Adding translations for foreign phrases is a brilliant idea – gotta make sure we're all in on the spy talk.
I'm sure I'm gonna dive into the book in the next few weeks.

Waterworks is the fifth and latest installment in the Lara and Uri series, a thrilling saga of international espionage and counter-terrorism. The book follows the married agents Lara Edmond, a CIA operative, and Uri Levin, a Mossad agent, as they race against time to stop a sinister plot by Iranian terrorists to poison the water supply of major US cities with a deadly radioactive substance. Along the way, they face danger, deception, and betrayal from unexpected sources, while also dealing with their personal and professional challenges.

The book is a fast-paced and gripping read, with realistic and well-developed characters, a complex and intriguing plot, and a lot of action and suspense. The author, Jack Winnick, is a professor of chemical engineering and an expert on Middle East affairs, and he uses his knowledge and experience to create a believable and compelling scenario that reflects the current geopolitical tensions and threats. The book also explores the moral and ethical dilemmas that the agents face in their mission, as well as the emotional and psychological toll that their job takes on them and their relationship.

Waterworks is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you think about the world we live in and the challenges we face. It is a book that fans of the Lara and Uri series will love, and newcomers will enjoy as well. It is a book that I highly recommend to anyone who likes thrillers, mysteries, and spy novels.

Jack winnick created believable plots based on real terrorists threats, that make me understand how water poisoning is a serious situation.

I never imagined that poisoning of water can be this much threat for the country people than the weapons of the terrorists itself. The review was interesting and 'Water Work' is now on my reading list.

I have longed to read a book with that kind of content, everything about it is phenomenal and it makes you think out of the box. Water is the main source of life. This book is on another level, I enjoyed reading every word in it.

A good action thriller story featuring Lara and Uri can be found in the book "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick. In this book, Lara and Uri are summoned when they are on a vacation after a threat of terrorist activities.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
