After reading this review, I'm glad to know it's the first in a series! Looks to be a thrilling ride. Love the cover as well!

I'm a newbie to the horror genre. Not sure that I'll get around to reading this one but this sounds like a great book. Thanks for the review!

The book seems good, it's just that I don't like horror books, but good review by the way

I read this book a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I agree with you that Hatiim's character was a little unbelievable at times. The storyline was really fun and though, and I love horror genre book. Thanks for the great review!

I've read so many reviews of this book the characters seem like family to me. But I need to find out what happens to them all.

Thanks for your compelling review.

A great review. I'll have to read this book soon now with Halloween approaching. I've read many reviews on this book and they were all positive, so it's worth checking it out.

This is a great review. I felt instantly drawn to Arthur's character through the prologue especially the good vs evil battle he has going on within himself. It sort of reminded me of Prince Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender, and if the review is anything to go by, I think it would make a great read and perhaps a future animated series. Kudos to both the reviewer and the author.

Horror and the supernatural are the realities we have to accept. We live with them; they affect us.

Whether or not the story about them is true, read it with diligence, you'll learn something.

Thank you for this great review. I agree with you that this wasn't extreme horror and that the due of Abigail and Haatim was great, but I think his character was quite realistic in terms of a guy who thought demons only existed in his theology class. Guns are pretty popular in America but in many other countries, most of us have never seen a gun live/first hand. I think he was asking HOW to hold it exactly and not whether he should it point it at himself or at the enemy.
Imagination Trumps Reality.

Thanks for the book. I am a bit scared of it as it deals with horror which I am not a fan of.
