Unfortunately, mafia crimes and all that jazz are totally not my cup of tea. No offense meaning to anyone, but I will have to skip this book. Congratulations with reaching BOTD!

Frankie seems to be having difficulty untangling himself from the mafia. I enjoyed your descriptions of the character development and the themes of Italian food and family. I wish more authors would include a synopsis of previous books in a series. Thanks for this amazing review!

It was really thoughtful for the author to start this book with a summary of the first book in the series. I don't know if I've ever seen that before.

Pretty intriguing plot premise. I’m curious to know how Frankie handled the avalanche of problems he comes to face. Great review.

The plot is quite interesting. What I enjoy the most is that the author put a summary of the first book at the beginning of the second one. Not many authors do this, and I wish that they would because I should not have to read another book just to read a second. Kudos to the author on BOTD! :)

I like how you mentioned that you felt like you were apart of the mob family. Evidence of great writing. Great review

From the review first paragraph, I knew this was going to be a mafia story. Moving on to the second the story made me recall the movie The Godfather; just to see in the third paragraph the same reaction from the reviewer. To me mafia story lines are always full of fun and love, and most importantly faithfulness between members, whether from the same family or the same mob. I’m looking forward to reading this novel. Thanks for the review and congrats for being BOTD.

I also like that the author included a summary of the events of the first book for better understanding

This is interesting read because Frankie was freed and then thrown a curveball. It has a lot of twists to the plot I see, so that’s great. It keeps the readers attention.

A nice review, although I'm not sure why you deducted a star because the action was too fast. This book sounds like a great mix of action, romance, and a bit of comedy. It is always so paradoxical to me how all these gangsters seemed so devoted to their families, and yet they committed crimes and mass killings with such ease. I think this story must be set in the past because the Mafia and New York have both changed a lot. I think this book is not only a great read, but also a bit nostalgic as well.

I love the fact this book is both thriller and mafia themed. Definitely song to my books to read as such books promise suspense all round.

Great book with creative series, I don't like reading series because missing one part means a lot to me so I will pass on this one. However I must comment that is a great thriller with good suspense. Great review.
Don't say it's Impossible if you haven't given it a try.
