From a sampling, this was an interesting mystery-supernatural novel. While the setting of a voodoo priestess and speaking with the dead seems to be like beating a dead horse, it is definitely worth a second look. Well done.

Mystery spiced up with supernatural elements is enticing enough for me to pick the book up. I would love to read how the Voodoo priestess helps the detective din solving murder mystery. Thanks for the review.

I wish to read the novel, its full of horrific mood.Full of mysterious events happening at The Island of the Dead.Miller uses supernatural power to communicate to spirits to help him be proven innocent in the incident he involved in.

I have never read a horror novel, it does not seem like something I would be interested in reading. The story does however sound like it could make a nice movie. Being able to use the voodoo glasses and special powers to solve murders would be good to watch..not sure about reading this one.

A story that comprises mystery, supernatural and detectives seems an interesting read. The character of Miller is also intriguing. Congrats on BOTD.

An interesting book involving detective work with a touch of the supernatural. I just wonder in the first place why Detective Miller had to worry about the Island if he had his ways with solving crime. But I guess I will have to read the novel to know. Great review.

This book Marlene W Potts
Miller’s View: La Isla de la Muerte is some kind of adventure while enjoying their honeymoon. I love this book because it is human vs mysterious and horor things . things to considee , editing, the sequence and adding of flavor in the climax.. I'm fond of reading this kind.

This book sounds like a pretty interesting twist on the normal plot line. The gold glasses are a very neat addition.

This book appeals to me as a fan of crime thrillers. I am looking forward to sampling this book and possibly the rest of the series. I am intrigued by Detective Miller's choice to go to this island, as well as his connection to the supernatural and the voodoo priestess.

This is a very good review.

I am slightly interested in reading this book. More so now that I have read this review. But it will be an interesting twist to see a detective framed for murders and what he has to do to clear his name. I am adding this book to my want to read list.

Thanks for the nice review. I enjoyed reading it. I also could not connect what the story was all about given that it seems they are connected in the series but the prologue helped a lot. The glasses are fascinating and I wonder how eventually they helped solve the mysterious deaths on the island. Thanks for the review.

This seems like an interesting book, but I honestly don't like the mix of weird supernatural in it.
