Oh, how I love detectives in their classical prime! Agatha Christie is great example among them, if reviewer says this book is reminiscent of her, then I'm definitely going to read it.

I loved your review! Besides entertaining, I liked that you checked the date of the disease. I do not like reading about murder but I am sure fans of this genre will enjoy this story. Thanks for the review!

A crime thriller where detectives gather for clues that will lead them to the perpetrators of the crime. I love the bit where you have noted the ease in seeing the clues as the reader yet not easy to identify the perpetrators yet.

Good night Irene by James Scott Bymside , appears to be a great read.

Excellent review. I like murder mysteries and this one sounds like a good one. I liked the sample on Amazon, couldn't figure the connection between the prolog and first chapter but your review made the link.

Your review is a real gem!!! A good thriller is not just clues (or I sure hope the author wouldn’t have stressed them out to infinity instead of making them subtle) but also a well researched setting and relatable characters. This book seems a winner, so I add it to my long list of books to read 😁

If this book is anywhere near as good as your review it should be a pleasure to read! Agatha Christie, vocabulary enhancement, well-researched; you seem to have covered everything I might like to know before reading. I am in awe of your review-writing prowess! Well done, thank you! :!: :)

Irene,

Excellent review of what sounds like a thrilling and entertaining little crime story! I will admit that I was as immersed in your review and the details you discussed as much as you were immersed in this book! I certainly look forward to giving this one a read myself.

Best,

Thanks for your review! I've never read an Agatha Christie novel, but I do know that she was an excellent mystery novelist. That being said, comparing Goodnight Irene to one of her works makes the book seem like a great read! I'm curious to find out the outcome of the investigation and whether Manory will be able to figure out his rape and murder cases.
