This seems to be an enthralling and suspenseful story revolving around a stolen art. I enjoy reading crime and mystery stories and this book seems to fill that urge. I will check it out. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

Great book indeed! Thanks so much for your review , I like the cover of the book , the first thing that came to my mind when I read the title of the book is that the book is all about spirituality , just to proof myself wrong after reading your review . The book seems interesting ,I must give it a try .

Sounds engaging although I prefer more action-packed stories. However, the plot sounds well thought and quite interesting.

I love reading historical fiction, but I haven't read one focused on art specifically. I look forward to learning more about underground stolen art as well as all the twists and turns that come with this interesting story. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

This book seems interesting with a set of historical fiction. I love that it is about art. Unfortunately, it felt slow but I feel like it would still be a great mystery read. Great review.

The book is interesting and mysterious. I am not really interested to art related stories, but this book makes me want to read more about it. I think the author did a good job writing the first free sample pages of the book, that even me; the person who is most likely gonna not gonna enjoy this type of story, is interested.

An entertaining plot, some great twists and turns and a captivating ending make a book intriguing. I like the fact that it also deals with art history. I have added it to my want-to-read shelf. Thanks for the informative review.

You recommend this book to those interested in art history because it's a ‘delightful lesson in art history’ incorporating actual stories of stolen artefacts – and here I'm thinking of the pillage of western Africa for Benin bronzes, recently in the news. I completely agree that this is reason enough to read it. More than that, I'd have to read the first book. I don't buy the concept of stand-alone books when they are part of a series. The minute one book makes reference to another, they are bonded.

This book looks really captivating as people who are into the arts, fantasies, or really into mysteries of the world would really appreciate this book. Truly is a page-turner, looking forward to reading it.

The premise sounds interesting, particularly the hunt for missing holy art and the use of a psychic by a detective or cop. Still, I’m not fond of when the psychic’s powers can be accessed too easily or conveniently or when tensions run too low in a mystery or thriller novel. I suppose I’ll have to check it out for myself to see if it’s enough to bother me. Thank you for the helpful review.

This is a wonderful piece. Reading your review alone makes me impatient, as I would want to lay my hands on this book as soon as possible. I guess mystery thrillers are my thing, so I can't wait to read this book. Thanks.

Art lovers will relish this book since it narrates an art heist and answers questions about the art world, especially the underground art scene. It is the second installment in a series, so readers should check out the first book as well.
